Some of us live what may be seen as a good life. We live in beautiful houses, we drive good dependable cars and amount many material possessions. Because of that, we sometimes get comfortable with the lifestyle we have and take for granted our precious freedoms. At this point, the only question we can ask ourselves is this: How far are we willing to go for Jesus?? What if the army suddenly breaks into your house and threatens your family’s life if you proclaim the name of Jesus as your only savior? What if they ask you to either spit on your bible or get your head chopped off? What would you do?
Now let’s talk about our inner man. What does it cost our inner man to follow Jesus? Remember that now we are talking about not just material stuff but emotional things of our inner being and our sinful nature such as adultery, drugs or alcohol. Are you willing to leave behind porn? Masturbation? Drunkenness? What about those little white lies? Anger? Jealousy? Greed? Are you willing to leave everything behind in order to follow Jesus?
We have to reevaluate ourselves as Christians and think about real Christianity and a real relationship with God. Not only 1 hour on Sundays, but a real relationship 24/7 with the one who gave his life for our salvation.
In conclusion, in order to overcome the problems of our outer man, we got to overcome the problems of our inner man. We must be renewed internally through the power of the Holy Spirit so that we may face the outside world with a new Christ-like perspective.
God bless y'all

As I get older and older, I can understand a little better what God wants for me and for my life, why do I say this? Because I see so many people everyday (even people that I love dearly) walking through this life with no purpose, without a goal to achieve, and that really saddens my heart. Now I know, that if it wasn’t because of God and God alone, I would have no path in this life either, he is the center of my life, he is the one I live for and the only reason to wake up every morning and go to work, go to band practice, talk to my friends and be someone in this world.
So what can I do to make the difference? GET CLOSER TO GOD and let everybody I talk to everyday know that there is such an awesome God who has a perfect plan for each one of us.
If you are reading this and you are not a Christian, I invite you to get closer to Jesus and walk with him EVERYDAY. If you are a Christian, GO and preach the gospel of Christ, which is why we live for.
God bless y'all.
